Earlier this year I (Yancey) was invited to give a talk to a group of artists, and specifically asked to reflect on my creative career to date.

When I looked back on my projects in response to this invitation, I was surprised to find a clear set of learnings — many of which I hadn’t noticed before. Nine observations emerged almost immediately felt like all creative people might benefit from hearing.

To release this more widely, I've published this work on Metalabel as a .zip file that contains two pieces: a 40-page PDF of the talk combining slides and text, designed by Metalabel's Creative Director Ilya Yudanov, and a video of me presenting the ideas and slides.
